Parallelism https://youtu.be/WphTsCYoN5A
This scene shows parallelism because it shows two characters talking on the phone. Not only are they both talking on the phone, but they are talking to each other. Parallelism occurs when the same idea is repeated in the scenes. The idea of them having a conversation shows the similarity to both of the characters. This can also be simultaneity because this is happening at the same time.

Simultaneity https://youtu.be/IYB41dq9t6E
This series of shots can be described as simultaneity because it shows two separate things happening at once. The shots switch back and forth from a boy riding his bike to the man selling drugs on the street. We know both of these things are happening at once because eventually the boy ends up running into the man.  This creates suspense as to what the significance of the boy is and how he is related to the man in white. This could also be used as parallelism because they are both going to the same spot.

Symbolism https://youtu.be/IhIbYKVGtxw
In the first shot, they are cleaning up the blood with a mop, it then switches to the ketchup being swept off the plate with a french fry. Both the blood and the ketchup are the same color and therefore can be compared. Both show the everyday life of the men who run the underground meth lab. This could also be contrast because it shows the contrast of them down in the meth lab, and what they do when they are not at work.

Lastly, these shots show a contrast between what the DEA agents see from their car, and what Mike sees from the park. Both men have an eye on each other, but  the view of the DEA agents is different because they are unaware that Mike knows they are watching him. This contrast provides vital information about the scene and shows how observant and aware Mike is.
